For the first time since September 2019, the Tri-City ValleyCats will be playing a regular season game on their home field Friday night.
The ValleyCats, who are now members of the Frontier League, will be taking on the New Jersey Jackals at Joe Bruno Stadium in Troy. Tri-City didn't play any games last year after the minor league baseball season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fans will be allowed inside the stadium, but capacity is limited and health protocols will be in place. First pitch for Friday night's game is scheduled for 7.
