State no Longer Requiring Students to Wear Masks While Outdoors

State officials say students will no longer be required to have a mask on while outdoors.

However, they still need to wear a facial covering while inside in accordance with federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance. Schools do have the right to make their own policies, meaning they could make kids wear masks while both indoors and outdoors. This issue is expected to be revisited again before the beginning of the next school year in September.
