Schenectady police are asking for the public's help in solving a murder that happened nearly one year ago.
They say Ieasha Merritt was shot last July 5th while standing at the corner of Albany Street and Hamlin Street. Investigators say three masked suspects exited a vehicle and opened fire towards a group of people, with one of the bullets striking Merritt. She was rushed to the hospital but died several days later. Anyone with information on the homicide is asked to call police.
