For the first time since 2019, there will be a Fourth of July celebration at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.
Last year's event was canceled due to COVID-19, but Sunday's gathering will feature food and beverage vendors as well as concerts from area musicians. There's also going to be a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. Fireworks will cap off the evening around 9:15 pm courtesy of Santore's World Famous Fireworks in Schaghticoke.
