All students and staff at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs are going to have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before classes start this Fall.
The school president says the decision to make the immunizations mandatory was based on both scientific data and federal guidance. There are also concerns about the spread of the Delta COVID-19 variant that's been causing the number of new cases to rise nationwide. Other local colleges requiring vaccinations include Siena, Union and RPI.
