Attorney General Letitia James issued a consumer alert this week about fake Covid vaccination cards. The AG says the cards use unauthorized seals of the CDC and Department of Health & Human Services, which is a violation of state and federal law. She says it can also put the health of the community at risk and prolong the crisis. New Yorkers are also urged not to post photos of their vaccination cards online, which could lead to identity theft.
