More jobs are coming back as New York State continues to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
The state added around 45,000 private sector jobs in the month of July. The statewide unemployment rate sits at 7.6 %, a slight decrease from June. New York City's unemployment decreased slightly to 10.5 $ ten in July.
