The New York Racing Association is celebrating the end of another successful season at Saratoga Race Course.
NYRA says over one-million fans were in attendance for the 40-day meet at "The Summer Place to Be" which began on July 15th and wrapped up Monday. NYRA also announced Monday that over $815-million were wagered on races at the track this year which shattered the previous record. NYRA now shifts its operations back to Belmont Park for the Fall meet. There's no word yet on when Opening Day at Saratoga Race Course will be in 2022.
