A 23 year old woman was shot in Albany early Saturday morning. The shots were fired near the corner of Central Ave and Henry Johnson Boulevard around 3:35am, police in the area heard the shots, when they got to the scene they saw a vehicle speed away. They eventually pulled the car over on Hamilton Street near Philip Street, the driver ran but was caught. Thirty-four year old Marcel Perry was arrested and found in possession of a handgun. Perry was already on probation. The woman was treated at Albany Med for gunshot wounds to her legs, she's expected to be ok.
