Governor Hochul says Afghan refugees will be resettling in cities across New York over the next few months.

The U.S. Department of State's Afghan Placement and Assistance Program says there are going to be up to 1,143 people who left that country recently arriving in the Empire State. They'll be placed in their new homes by March 31st and up to 100 of them will be living in Albany.
