Saratoga County has released its proposed 2022 budget, which will include body cams for county sheriffs deputies and expanded mental health assistance for for inmates while at the Saratoga County Jail as well as post-release care.
The county health department, which had relied heavily on the state, will become a full service department, handling code inspections of places like restaurants and hotels. The budget also calls for a slight decrease in the tax rate. The next hearing is scheduled for November 30th.
