Albany police say they've made an arrest in connection with a recent stabbing that left a man in critical condition.
They say 29-year-old Dayshon McKenzie injured the 35-year-old victim during an altercation near Quail Street and Third Street Friday night. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, went to Albany Med to be treated for wounds to his chest and abdomen. McKenzie was taken into custody Monday in the area of Second Street and North Lake Avenue and has been charged with assault.
