After being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Veterans Day Parade will be taking place in Albany this year.
Mayor Kathy Sheehan and City of Albany Joint Veterans Committee said yesterday the event will happen on November 11th at 11:00 am. The parade route begins at the corner of Ontario Street and Central Avenue and ends at the corner of Washington Avenue and Hawk Street. Should there be bad weather on the day of the parade, a ceremony to honor veterans be held at the City Hall Rotunda.
