New York Islanders legend Mike Bossy is revealing his battle with lung cancer, and says he'll be stepping away from his television work.
Bossy is currently working for TVA Sports in Canada and wrote an update in French, saying the break is necessary in order to receive treatment. Bossy is a member of the hockey hall of fame and won four Stanley Cups with the Islanders, scoring 573 career goals, which ranks 22nd all-time. Bossy says while the battle he's facing won't be easy, he's ready to give it 100-percent.
