Niskayuna police say a man is facing vehicular manslaughter and DWI charges for causing a deadly crash in their town.
Police say Mark Brody was driving on Route Seven near Shannon Boulevard Friday night when his vehicle hit a car driven by Denise Guthinger. She was rushed to Albany Med but died shortly after arriving while Brody suffered minor injuries. Officials say alcohol was a factor in the crash and Brody is now in the Schenectady County Jail. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to call police.
