An East Greenbush teenager is in trouble with the law after lying about a sewing needle being found in a candy bar.
Investigators say the 14-year-old boy claimed the needle was discovered in a small Twix bar that he got while trick-or-treating on Halloween. The teen later admitted that he made the whole thing up after seeing a similar stunt on TikTok and he's now charged with falsely reporting an incident. Police say the teen has been processed and released.
