The building that's currently known as the Times Union Center is one step closer to having a new name.
Albany County officials say they're reviewing four bids for naming rights to the arena located in Downtown Albany. The Times Union name has been on the front of the arena since 2007, but the publisher of the newspaper decided not to extend the current contract. A spokesperson for County Executive Dan McCoy says a new name will likely be decided next month.
