Changes Make It Easier For Family And Friends To Provide Foster Care

A fairly recent change in federal law has marked the beginning of a new era for young people who need care when their parents are unable to provide it. In this episode of Upstate Issues, Colleen Vogel, Senior Director of Foster Care, Northern Rivers talks about the Family First Prevention Services Act which makes it easier for “kin” to provide foster care.
