Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says New York is expected to get at least $ 27-billion from the over $ 1-trillion infrastructure bill President Biden signed this week.
Gillibrand says money will be used for expanding broadband internet access and repairing over seven thousand miles of roads that are in poor condition. Funding is also going towards protecting the state from cyberattacks and improving water infrastructure. Gillibrand calls the infrastructure bill a once-in-a-generation investment that will build a strong economy and lay the foundation for a brighter future.
