Calls have been made for Jim Malatras to resign since being identified in the State Attorney General’s sexual harassment report of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The board released a lengthy statement supporting Malatras him for his outstanding leadership during the coronavirus pandemic. In 2019, before he was chancellor, Malatras took part in the discrediting of the first Cuomo accuser, Lindsay Boylan.
