Albany County will soon be launching an online portal that residents can use to report violations of the state's indoor mask mandate.
The portal is part of the county's effort to enforce the rule requiring facial coverings to be worn in all public places unless there's a vaccine requirement in place. Possible violations will be investigated and the county will then work with offenders to educate them about the policy, which will be in effect until January 15th. The portal is scheduled to online in the next few days.
