Former President Donald Trump is suing state Attorney General Letitia James in an attempt to block her investigation into his real estate holdings.
The AG is looking into whether the Trump Organization manipulated the value of its properties to obtain favorable insurance and loan rates and lower its tax obligations. James has already responded to the lawsuit, saying the probe will continue because no one is above the law. The Manhattan District Attorney is also conducting a criminal investigation into the same issues James is. Trump says both investigations are "a witch hunt."
