Pennsylvania’s Hershey Bears hockey team asked for spectators to throw a stuffed bear after the team scored their first goal during their Saturday game against the Hartford Wolfpack – and boy did they – to the tune of 52,341 bears. When the goal was made, another goal of over 52-thousand stuffed animals on the ice was also made, beating the previous record set in 2019 by the team. The stuffed animals will now be distributed to over two dozen organizations for children throughout the area. As for the team, it’s a double win – considering they won 5/0 as well.
