Hoosick Falls police are mourning the loss of a fellow officer after he's killed in a crash in Schaghticoke.
According to State Police, 25-year-old Matthew Waldron was driving on Route 67 Tuesday when his vehicle struck a tractor-trailer from behind. Waldron was taken to a nearby hospital and later died from his injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer wasn't hurt. Waldron was off duty at the time of the crash and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
