Schenectady police are asking for help from the public as they investigate their city's first homicide of 2022.
After getting a shots fired call Wednesday night, officers rushed to the scene in the area of Davis Terrace and Third Avenue and found that a vehicle had crashed into a house. Inside that vehicle was a 38-year-old man who was suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim, whose name hasn't been released, was pronounced dead. Anyone who has information on the case is asked to give police a call.
