Michael LoPorto longtime owner of the very Popular LoPorto's on 4th Street in Troy has died at the age of 70 from Cancer. LoPorto also served on the Troy City Council. Current Mayor Patrick Madden offering condolences saying that Michael Lo Porto was passionate about the city of Troy and lent his talents and efforts to the betterment of the city. Madden saying that LoPorto was a larger than life figure, whose passing leaves Troy a "little less eclectic".
