Juli Boeheim, the wife of longtime Syracuse Basketball coach Jim Boeheim, was robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of a Syracuse shopping mall.
Syracuse.com and several other media outlets are reporting that Juli Boeheim was sitting in her car near the entrance to the Cheesecake Factory, when a man approached the car and began talking with her and then pointed a gun at Boeheim. The suspect reached into her car and stole her purse.
The man and two others then drove away from the scene in a car that had been reported stolen. Juli Boeheim was not injured in the armed robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
