The man accused of killing a woman and leaving her body at a park in Rensselaer County is expected back in court this week.
The Rensselaer County District Attorney's office says 22-year-old Ian Hasselwander will have a preliminary hearing on Thursday. Investigators say Hasselwander murdered 20-year-old Morgan Bates, who was reported missing back on February 22nd. Her body was discovered last Sunday at Cherry Plain State Park in Petersburgh. Officials say they're waiting for autopsy results for more information on how Bates died.
