The University at Albany women's basketball team now knows who it'll be taking on in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
The 16th seeded Great Danes will be battling the top-seeded Louisville Cardinals on Friday in Kentucky. UAlbany earned its bid by winning the America East tournament over Maine. This is the first time the program has made it to the NCAA Tournament since 2017 and UAlbany's lone win came back in 2016 over the Florida Gators.
