Officials in the Mechanicville City School District are announcing the resignation of now-former superintendent Bruce Potter.
Potter was placed on administrative leave earlier this month after a complaint was filed against him. However, what Potter is accused of doing wrong still hasn't been made public. His job is going to be filled on an interim basis by Assistant Superintendent Kevin Kolakowski. The district will look for an internal candidate to be the next superintendent before deciding if an outside search in necessary.
