The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is trying to track down who is responsible for dumping boxes of cats outside of the Menands shelter.
Officials say the animals were abandoned by three women Saturday and that all but three were kittens. Staff members are now treating the felines, including some who have infections in their eyes. There is no word yet on when the cats may be placed up for adoption.
