The cost of gas keeps rising and now Capital Region drivers are paying more than ever to fill up their vehicles.
According to Triple A, the average price for a gallon of regular fuel has reached a record high of $4.54. That's up 21 cents in just the past week, is 34 cents more than this time last month and is $1.58 cents higher than a year ago. The state average is currently $4.57 a gallon while nationally it's $4.37.
