For the first time since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Saint Sophia Greek Festival will be happening in-person.
The event begins at 6:00 pm. Friday night at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Church on Whitehall Road in Albany.
The celebration continues Saturday from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm. and Sunday from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. The festival has often attracted crowds of more than 25,000 people, making it the largest event of its kind in the area. More information can be found online at stsophiaalbany.org.
