State Police have arrested a man who they say stole a Schenectady Police Department vehicle at Ellis Hospital and led officers on a pursuit.
According to Troopers, 43-year-old Ricky Izarry had been brought to the hospital Monday for an evaluation before taking the vehicle. Izarry drove the vehicle onto the New York State Thruway and the chase didn't stop until the vehicle's tires were deflated by an Ulster County Sheriff's Deputy. Izarry is now facing multiple charges.
