Troy Police responded to a hostage situation at a Stewart's on Vandenburgh Avenue Thursday night.
Police say one man went in to the Stewart's and held two employees hostage. The suspect reportedly held a knife up to one of the employees as police worked to de escalate the situation. The man let one employee go but held the other for about an hour. Eventually, the man surrendered and police took him to the hospital to be evaluated. No injuries were reported.
