The trial of an Albany man accused of murdering a woman back in July 2019 is now underway.
Prosecutors say that 55-year-old Paul Barbaritano killed 29-year-old Nicole Jennings at an apartment on Brevator Street in Albany by choking and stabbing her. However, Barbaritano's attorney claims that Jennings' death was a tragic accident. If he is convicted, Barbaritano could be sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
