The start of the new season at Saratoga Race Course is just days away, and businesses in the Spa City are getting ready for an influx of customers.
Many shops say they're optimistic about having a profitable few weeks while others are concerned about low staffing levels that may lead to slower customer service. In 2021, more than one-million fans made a visit to "The Summer Place to Be." This year's 40-day meet gets underway Thursday and runs through Labor Day which is September 5th.
