Horse racing fans will be returning to Saratoga Race Course Wednesday for the start of the second week of the 2022 season.
The New York Racing Association says during the first four days of the meet, over 103,000 people filed through the turnstiles which was a 10-percent jump from last year. The amount of money wagered was also up over 18% from opening week in 2021 for a total of more than $106-million.
