The deadline for New Yorkers to change their party enrollment ahead of the August primary is coming up later this week.
Voters now have until 5:00 pm Thursday to switch their affiliation and they can do so by filling out a form that can be picked up at places such as a town or village clerk's office, post office or motor vehicle office. They can also request a change in-person at their local Board of Elections. Primary Day is set for Tuesday, August 23rd and ballots will be cast in both Congressional and State Senate races.
