Friends and family members will be gathering Wednesday to say their final goodbye to former Assemblyman Pat Casale.
His funeral is taking place at 10:00 am at Transfiguration Parish which is located on Hillview Drive in Troy. Casale, who served seven terms in the Legislature, passed away last Friday at the age of 87. During his political career, he worked as Troy mayor and also held the position of Rensselaer County Clerk. He's going to be buried with full military honors at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
