Nancy Pelosi has been on her Indo-Pacific tour, making a few stops including on Tuesday when she visited Taiwain, disregarding threats from China.
Pelosi was speaking at a press conference on Thursday during her trip where she made her claim of a connection to China stemming all the way back to her childhood. "When I was a little girl, I was told at the beach if I dug a hole deep enough, we would reach China, so we've always felt a connection there" said Pelosi.
