The suspect accused of carrying out a January 2019 homicide in Schenectady has faced a judge for the first time.
On Monday, 20-year-old Clifford Charles appeared in court and pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and conspiracy. Prosecutors say Charles shot and killed 38-year-old Roscoe Foster during a botched robbery in the area of Linden Street and Becker Street. Charles is due back in court again on August 25th.
