Congressman Paul Tonko will be holding a rally in Albany Tuesday to celebrate the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act.
The event, which is open to the public, is taking place at 11:00 am at the portion of the Albany Skyway that's located underneath Interstate 787. Tonko, who currently represents the 20th Congressional District, will be joined by officials including Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and the Executive Director of Clean and Healthy NY. Tonko says not only will the IRA help families save money, the measure also includes what he's calling the most significant package of climate legislation ever approved by Congress.
