State Police have announced the results of their latest "Speed Week" crackdown on dangerous drivers.
From August 15th until the 21st Troopers handed out more than 25,000 tickets for offenses such as speeding, distracted driving and violations of the state's Move Over Law. There were also 214 people arrested for drunk and impaired driving. During the August 2021 "Speed Week" detail, which ran for nine days as opposed to seven this year, over 32,000 tickets were issued.
