Officials at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society say the facility is filling up with animals and to help empty the shelter, adoption fees are being lowered.
That means the price of taking home a new four-legged friend that's one year or older will be only $100 through October 31st. A large number of people have surrendered their pets as of late due to factors such as inflation affecting their ability to feed them.
