Halloween may still be a few days away, but members of the Schenectady police and fire departments will be getting in the spirit a bit early Thursday night.
They'll be taking part in Scare-nectady Haunted Patrols that will be making stops at several locations in the Electric City. Those locations include Jerry Burrell Park, the Steinmetz Homes, Steinmetz Park and Woodlawn Elementary School. Folks will have the chance to see Halloween-decorated police and fire vehicles and will receive bags that can be used for trick-or-treating. The event begins at 5:00 pm and is expected to wrap up around 7:45 pm.
