The Albany Police Athletic League has announced its plans for the upcoming 2022 Holiday Lights Show.
The organization says this year's event will be a virtual display that's going to be posted online November 25th at pallights.com. It was also announced Thursday that an informal agreement has been reached for the show to be held at the Altamont Fairgrounds in 2023. In years past, the show has taken place at Albany's Washington Park, but that is no longer feasible due to the large amount of traffic in that area. Since it debuted in 1997, it's estimated over 2 million people have visited the holiday event.
