Both Congressman Paul Tonko and Congresswoman Elise Stefanik are going to continue representing the Capital Region on Capitol Hill. In the 20th District,
Tonko, a Democrat, cruised to a win over Republican Liz Joy in a contest that was a rematch from 2020. Tonko says his campaign was about delivering results to the region and that he's going to keep doing just that. And in the 21st District, the Republican Stefanik came out on top over Democrat Matt Castelli. That means her fifth term begins in January.
