Members of the Rotterdam Town Board will be meeting Wednesday night to discuss the rules for marijuana dispensaries in the community.
Back in October, a local law was introduced that would place guidelines on where those businesses can be located and also regulate their hours of operation. Businesses would be allowed within 500 feet of a school or 250 feet of a house of worship. Dispensaries could also only be open from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm on certain days and from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm on others. Wednesday night's meeting is at Town Hall and gets underway at 7:00 pm.
