Parents who want to make sure their child's car seat is safe have two places where they can go Wednesday to get it checked out.
Free inspection events are happening from 9:30 am until 1:30 pm at the Albany County Department of Public Works building in Voorheesville and from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the State Police barracks on Troy-Schenectady Road in Latham. Technicians will be on hand to teach people how to choose and properly install a seat that is appropriate for their child's age.
